In the afternoon of February 2nd, General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security, Member of the National Election Council, Head of the Supervisory Delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee worked with the Election Commission (UBBC) of Da Nang City.
Reporting to the supervisory delegation, Da Nang City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang affirmed that the locality has identified this as a particularly important political task. To date, Da Nang has established 93 commune-level UBBCs, 1,784 Election Teams to serve more than 2.1 million voters. Personnel work is carried out cautiously; it is expected to elect 14 National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and 76 City People's Council deputies.

To ensure the rights of voters, city leaders proposed that the Central Election Council allow early elections in particularly difficult communes and border areas.
Concluding his speech, General Luong Tam Quang highly appreciated Da Nang's professional and methodical preparation, especially the application of information technology in election monitoring at the grassroots level.

Bộ trưởng chỉ đạo: "Đà Nẵng cần tập trung rà soát từng quy trình, làm tốt công tác hiệp thương để chọn người đủ đức, đủ tài. Đặc biệt, phải chủ động xây dựng phương án xử lý các tình huống, nhất là an ninh phi truyền thống, tuyệt đối không để bị động, bất ngờ".
Cùng ngày, bộ trưởng đã trực tiếp kiểm tra tại phường Hải Châu, ghi nhận sự chuẩn bị chu đáo về cơ sở vật chất và hệ thống phần mềm theo dõi tiến độ bầu cử thông suốt tại đây.
