The Working Group has the function and task of researching and proposing to the Government, the Prime Minister, the Government Steering Committee on the development of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and Project 06 to implement the tasks of Project 06; urging tasks related to administrative procedure reform, digital transformation associated with Project 06 nationwide.
This decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation (May 15, 2025).
Previously, on January 6, 2022, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision 06/QD-TTg approving the Project to develop applications of data on population, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030 (Project 06).
In addition, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also signed Decision No. 930/QD-TTg approving the list of members and functions and tasks of the Working Group on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation (Working Group).
According to the Decision, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung is the Head of the Working Group.
