At the meeting of the leadership of units under the ministry, the Ministry of Justice announced the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Phan Chi Hieu - Chairman of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.
Speaking at the Conference, Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh expressed his joy when Mr. Phan Chi Hieu returned to the " home of Justice" after a period of holding the position of Director at the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
The Minister believes that, with practical experience and many years of attachment to the Ministry and the Judiciary, Mr. Phan Chi Hieu will quickly get into the rhythm, unite with the collective leadership of the ministry, share, support each other, and successfully complete assigned tasks.
The Minister also hopes that in the coming time, the cooperative relationship between the Ministry of Justice and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences will become increasingly close and closer, because these are two agencies with many fields that can complement and coordinate effectively with each other.
Deputy Minister Phan Chi Hieu also expressed his emotion at returning to the " home of Justice". Thereby, Deputy Minister Phan Chi Hieu emphasized that the position, role and prestige of the Ministry and the Judiciary are increasingly affirmed in all areas of work.
The Deputy Minister pledged to quickly get into the rhythm, share responsibilities with the leaders of the Ministry, and promote experience to successfully complete assigned tasks.
For the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Deputy Minister Phan Chi Hieu said that in recent times, the institute has completed many important projects, successfully organized the Party Congress, creating a solid foundation for a new development journey. As former President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Mr. Phan Chi Hieu is proud to have made certain contributions to the Institute - a leading policy research and consulting institution in the country.
Deputy Minister Phan Chi Hieu expressed his desire to continue promoting the close cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, contributing to helping the Ministry and the Judiciary have more solid scientific and theoretical bases for law-making, ensuring long-term stability of the law and its suitability to reality.
