On the afternoon of March 3, the Ministry of Construction provided press information on the Conference to announce the decisions of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction and the Minister of Construction on organization and personnel work.
On February 19, 2025, the Government Party Committee issued Decision No. 25-QD/dyU on the establishment of the Ministry of Construction Party Committee, consisting of 58 affiliated party organizations with more than 12,000 party members. The Ministry of Construction Party Committee is directly under the Government Party Committee, established on the basis of reorganizing the Ministry of Construction Party Committee and the Ministry of Transport Party Committee.
The Government Party Committee also issued Decision No. 27-QD/DU on appointing members to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Ministry of Construction's Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
There are 37 comrades appointed to join the Executive Committee of the Ministry of Construction Party Committee; 13 comrades appointed to join the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Construction Party Committee; 05 comrades appointed to join the Inspection Committee of the Ministry of Construction Party Committee; 03 comrades appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Construction Party Committee.
Comrade Tran Hong Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Government Party Committee, Minister of Construction, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction for the 2020 - 2025 term.
On the basis of merging Party organizations, on March 3, 2025, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction announced the Decision to establish new agencies for 18 Party committees and affiliated Party cells; Decision to establish agencies and advisory agencies to assist the Party Committee of the Ministry (P Party Committee Office, Party Committee Organization Committee, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Ministry Party Committee Inspection Committee) and Decision to appoint leaders of advisory and advisory agencies to assist the Party Committee of the Ministry.
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated February 18, 2025, based on the proposal of the Minister of Construction, the Prime Minister signed and issued Decree No. 33/2025/ND-CP dated February 25, 2025 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction.
The Ministry of Construction has 23 organizations, of which 19 organizations help the Minister perform the function of state management and 4 organizations are public service units serving the function of state management of the Ministry of Construction.
On March 3, 2025, the Ministry of Construction announced the decisions of the Minister of Construction on regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of organizations under the Ministry; the decisions of the Minister of Construction appointing the leadership positions of heads and deputy heads for 146 cadres of agencies and units under the Ministry of Construction.
In the process of streamlining the apparatus, Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, and collectives of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers at agencies and units have agreed and are highly unified with the methods of leadership and direction, resolutely and steadfastly guiding the goals, requirements, and principles to ensure compliance with the Party Charter, State laws, and Central Government direction.
In addition, the Ministry of Construction has also thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 of the Government.
Immediately after this Conference, the Ministry of Construction will continue to thoroughly grasp and implement the Party's guidelines and regulations, the State's laws and the Ministry's leadership and direction on streamlining the apparatus, operating effectively, efficiently and efficiently in each organization; doing a good job of political and ideological work, above and below, wholeheartedly, along the board, smoothly, and with high consensus for the Party's ideal goals, for the sustainable development of the Construction industry and each organization.
