After 2 days of urgent, serious, democratic and highly responsible work, the first Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, has completed the contents according to the Program.
On that basis, the Congress voted and unanimously approved the Resolution of the first Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, including the following contents: Political report of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term submitted to the Congress, with general viewpoints and goals, 22 main targets, 06 key tasks, 03 breakthrough tasks and 12 groups of tasks and solutions mainly in each field of work.
In his closing speech, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai stated: The Central Government has decided to merge Ca Mau province and Bac Lieu province into a new administrative unit, in order to create Ca Mau with more space for development, with the position of the southernmost province of the Fatherland, a gateway to the sea, a new growth pole of the region and the whole country. deeply aware of the new position, role and responsibility in the new period, the First Congress of the Provincial Party Committee has shown high determination, solidarity and deep consensus throughout the Party Committee to be ready to enter a new stage of development, with new stature and new aspirations.
The Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee said: The Resolution of the First Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, has just been voted on as "a collective project", built with the intelligence, enthusiasm, aspiration to rise up, and determination to innovate creativity of the entire Party Committee, people and army of Ca Mau province. The core spirit of the Resolution is to use all measures and solutions positively, promote all resources, especially human resources, effectively exploit all potentials and advantages of the province to successfully implement the goals and tasks in the 2025 - 2030 term.

Ca Mau province sets a target of having an average growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the province for 5 years (2026 - 2030) of 10% or more; GRDP per capita by 2030 of over 6,000 USD; total 5-year export turnover of about 17 billion USD; total 5-year budget revenue of about 75,000 billion VND; urbanization rate by 2030 exceeds the prescribed target; 5-year social housing development of over 4,200 units; the rate of trained workers by 2030 is about 80%; the rate of poor households (according to the new multidimensional poverty standard) decreases by about 1 - 1.5%/year...
