News from the People's Council of Ca Mau province on June 6 said that this agency drafted a Resolution on policies to support cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to work in Ca Mau due to changes in administrative boundaries.
According to the draft, the new Ca Mau province will support cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who are receiving salaries from the state budget or from the revenue of public service units, have decisions on mobilizing and arranging work from Bac Lieu province to Ca Mau province after the merger; administrative agencies, units and public service units related to the arrangement, receipt and payment of support regimes according to regulations.
The total amount of support expected for each person is 2.2 million VND/month, in the first 2 years from the date of the arrangement and merger decision by the competent authority.
Specifically, support for monthly rental rent for each cadre, civil servant, public employee and employee: 1.2 million VND/person/month; support for travel expenses: 520,000 VND/person/month; and support for living expenses of 500,000 VND/person/month.
The budget for implementing this policy is arranged by Ca Mau province from the provincial state budget and other legal sources according to the law.
The total number of cadres, civil servants, and public employees of Party, government, Front and mass organizations of Bac Lieu province expected to work at the new administrative unit in Ca Mau province is 1,734 people. Of which, 82 people do not need to be arranged or supported with accommodation; 796 people are proposed to be supported with the cost of finding their own accommodation; 856 people are proposed to be arranged with houses and public housing.
