In September 2025, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a document requesting agencies, units, and People's Committees at the commune level to continue to effectively implement the toolkit for measuring and evaluating work performance (KPI) for cadres, civil servants, and public employees.
Accordingly, heads of agencies, units and localities must be responsible to competent authorities for the situation and results of KPI implementation.
The implementation needs to ensure seriousness, honesty, and objectivity in management, working hours statistics, and work product quality assessment.
Agencies must regularly check and supervise the declaration and recording of work logs on KPI software, and urge and rectify cases that have not been implemented or are not implemented honestly.
For the implementation of 3 KPI sets to evaluate the results and effectiveness of the operations of agencies, units and localities in the provincial political system, the Provincial People's Committee requested to urgently review and compile statistics on tasks, targets and plans for 2025 assigned by competent authorities.
Agencies need to complete the KPI set according to the instructions of the Working Group at the online training session on August 22, 2025.
Units must strictly implement the periodic reporting regime on KPI implementation results, and send it to the Department of Home Affairs for synthesis before the 25th of each month.
The Department of Home Affairs continues to be responsible for synthesizing reports, guiding and supporting units in implementing the list of work items. The Department of Science and Technology synthesizes and reports data extracted from KPI software, while coordinating to overcome problems, ensuring a stable operating system.
Speaking on this content, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh emphasized: KPI is an important measure, helping to evaluate objectively and transparently, truly reflecting the work results of each individual, agency, and unit.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested Party committees, agencies and units at all levels to thoroughly grasp and raise awareness among cadres, civil servants and public employees about the meaning and importance of KPI.
At the same time, strictly and honestly implement the recording of work logs, management of working hours and evaluation of work products, ensuring strictness, objectivity and accuracy.
