At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhon - Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee announced 6 Decisions of the City Party Committee on the establishment of 6 Party Committees, including: Party Committees of the City Party Agencies, Party Committees of the City People's Committee, Party Committees of the City Police, Party Committees of the City Military, Party Committees of Can Tho University, Party Committee of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
And 4 Decisions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on appointing personnel for 4 Party Committees, including: Party Committees of the City Party Agencies, Party Committees of the City People's Committee, Party Committees of the City Police, Party Committees of the City Military and Police. In particular, the Party Committees of Can Tho University and Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy will organize a 4-contention congress, so no personnel will be appointed.
In Decision No. 60, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee decided to appoint comrade Dong Van Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Party Agencies, term 2020 - 2025. Comrade Nguyen Thien Nhon - Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee, holds the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Party Agencies, term 2020 - 2025.
