According to the People's Committee of Can Tho City implementing Project 06 of the Government for the period 2022 - 2025, up to now, 100% of eligible administrative procedures in the city are provided online and have been integrated and provided on the National Public Service Portal. People perform procedures directly at the One-Stop Department, which is 100% identified through the National Population Database (NDL).
The total number of administrative procedures under the city's authority is 2,242 procedures. Of which, the city level is 1,845; the commune level is 397). All are made public on the national database and listed at the BIA receiving and settling agencies.
In the banking sector, the city has deployed the application of electronic chips attached to CCCDs to authenticate customer information and prevent forgery.
The city has issued 3.35 million CCCDs and activated more than 2.38 million level 2 electronic identification accounts.
The health and social insurance sectors have implemented receiving CCCDs to replace health insurance cards when people are examined and treated. All 355 medical facilities in the area receive health insurance examinations using chip-embedded ID cards or VNeID applications with more than 10.4 million people. At the same time, it is necessary to connect data on driver's health certificates, birth certificates, and death certificates through the health insurance assessment system. By June 30, 2025, 213,850 driver's health certificates, 1,122 death certificates and 70,914 birth certificates had been signed and sent to the data reception portal.
Deploying the Electronic Health Book in the city. To date, 761,857 Electronic Health Books have been updated and integrated on VNeID, reaching a rate of 18.63% of the total permanent population. Integrated 13,042 referral papers and 146,384 re-examination appointments.
The tax sector has deployed electronic invoices generated from cash registers for food and beverage services to prevent budget losses; at the same time, promoting cashless payments in the fields of health, education, social insurance, and public services.
The Department of Education and Training directs 100% of schools to collect tuition fees online, connecting financial software with a non-cash payment platform.
Can Tho Smart application integrates many utilities to serve people and businesses: look up and submit public service records; pay online; view public cameras; look up phone records, ATM locations, pharmacies, clinics; improve the function of reflecting the scene.
Can Tho has implemented electronic payments for many groups of subjects. Of which, meritorious people paid through accounts reached 44.04% with more than 179.6 billion VND; social protection beneficiaries more than 135.5 billion VND; pensions and monthly allowances over 221.7 billion VND; one-time allowances over 386.2 billion VND and unemployment allowances over 81.5 billion VND.
