Quang Trung Campaign is being implemented rapidly in the context of 9 provinces and cities in the Central - Central Highlands region being heavily damaged by natural disasters and historic storms and floods in 2025.
The campaign is carried out under the orders and directions of General Secretary To Lam; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The biggest goal of the campaign is that 100% of completely collapsed houses will be newly built, 100% of damaged houses will be repaired, and no people will be homeless to celebrate the 2026 Lunar New Year.

At that time, the Party Committee of the Central Public Security and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security organized thorough grasp and serious implementation throughout the People's Public Security Forces (CAND) with a spirit of urgency, drasticity, and timeliness, identifying this as a key political task with profound humanistic significance.
The Ministry of Public Security has issued 4 Plans, 1 Guidance, 66 Telegrams, Electricity..., organized 4 delegations to directly inspect the progress of implementation on thoroughly grasping, deploying, and urging the progress of the Campaign throughout the People's Public Security Forces, associated with the Three Firsts emulation movement: "Most Disciplined, Most Loyal, Closest to the People".
Directing the People's Police in 9 provinces and cities in the Central region to mobilize more than 11,000 turns of officers and soldiers, thousands of turns of forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; strengthening 300 officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police force, and students of People's Police schools to support and directly participate in the Campaign.

Before, during and after natural disasters, officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces always stood side by side with people to reinforce houses; brave the rain, wade through water, bring people trapped out of isolated and isolated areas; actively clean up houses and schools after storms and floods and work with the spirit of "3 shifts, 4 teams", "overcoming sun and winning rain", "working day and night", "every day off, throughout holidays and Tet" in the Quang Trung Campaign implementation, leaving a very deep impression in the hearts of the people.
The Ministry of Public Security supports 50 million VND/newly built house; cadres and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces voluntarily contribute 1 day's salary, responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, so far more than 124 billion VND has been mobilized.
In addition, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with businesses and philanthropists to mobilize more than 900 tons of necessities, medicines, clean water, and medical supplies; organized 2 medical teams of the Ministry of Public Security's First-class Hospital to examine and treat people in Hue and Da Nang. The total value of socialized resources reached more than 120 billion VND.
Local police promptly informed, mobilized, and received support from philanthropists and businesses supporting tens of thousands of bricks, more than 30 tons of rice, medicine, chemicals... to support overcoming the consequences.
At the summary ceremony of the "Quang Trung Campaign" in mid-January 2026 organized by the Ministry of Public Security, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc - Deputy Minister of Public Security - said that looking back at 2025, it can be affirmed that this is a challenging year when our country has to endure successive storms, floods, and natural disasters with heavy destructive power from the northern mountainous provinces to the central region.
In just 40 days, the People's Public Security Forces excellently completed their tasks, especially building new and repairing houses for people affected by storms and floods, helping people soon stabilize their lives. The above results are vivid proof of the spirit: "When people need, when people are in difficulty, there is the Police".
By December 30, 2025, there were 34,759 damaged houses nationwide that were repaired, completing 100%, of which 33,879 (reaching 97.5%) houses were completed 5-10 days earlier than planned. By January 15, 2026, 1,597 houses that needed to be newly built had been basically completed.
