In the afternoon of January 5, the Hanoi City People's Council held its 30th meeting to consider a number of contents under its authority, including personnel work.
At the meeting, delegates of the Hanoi People's Council unanimously agreed to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hoai Duc commune for the term 2021-2026 from the position of Head of the Culture - Society Department of the 16th Hanoi People's Council, term 2021-2026.
At the same time, the City People's Council dismissed Mr. Dam Van Huan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ung Hoa commune for the term 2021-2026 from the position of Head of the Urban Department of the XVI City People's Council, term 2021-2026.
Previously, on December 24, 2025, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Committee Nguyen Minh Long announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on personnel work.
Accordingly, transferring and appointing Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh (born in 1976) - Head of the Culture - Society Department, City People's Council, term 2021-2026, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoai Duc commune, term 2025-2030; introducing him to consolidate the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Hoai Duc commune for the term 2021-2026.
Transferring and appointing Mr. Dam Van Huan (born in 1968) - Head of the Urban Committee of the City People's Council for the term 2021-2026, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Ung Hoa commune, term 2025-2030; introducing him to consolidate the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Ung Hoa commune for the term 2021-2026.
