Recently, the Politburo has issued a policy on transferring the assignment of tasks to Mr. Ngo Chi Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term to hold the position of Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The Executive Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term consists of 83 comrades. Appointed Mr. Tran Van Lau - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City - to hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee.
Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen holds the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; the Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee include comrades Lu Quang Ngoi, Nguyen Minh Dung, Kim Ngoc Thai, Le Van Han, Lam Minh Dang.

Also at the 1st Congress of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, Mr. Le Minh Tri - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, gave an important speech, sending success wishes to all delegates and affirming the historical stature of the Congress.
Mr. Tri emphasized that the merger of the three provinces of Vinh Long, Ben Tre, and Tra Vinh into the new province of Vinh Long opens up great development opportunities, while posing a high requirement for strategic vision, bravery, and intelligence for the entire Party Committee and people.
In the past term, the province has achieved many outstanding achievements: average economic growth of 5.58%/year, average income per capita of VND 85.31 million/year, urbanization rate of 35%, trade - services play a key role, the poverty rate decreases by more than 1% per year.
Many key products are exported to international markets, of which Vinh Long fruit is present in more than 40 countries, Ben Tre and Tra Vinh coconuts account for more than 50% of the country's area. In addition, wind power and solar power projects have turned Vinh Long into a clean energy center of the Mekong Delta.
Entering the new term, Mr. Le Minh Tri suggested key development orientations. In particular, agriculture has been strongly transformed to high technology, ecology and intelligence, forming concentrated commodity production zones, associated with processing and the global market.
Industry and renewable energy are developed synchronously, combining logistics and supporting industries. The marine economy is exploited effectively, combined with coastal urban development and offshore wind energy.
Mr. Tri also emphasized the importance of inter-regional strategic infrastructure, digital transformation, high-quality human resource development, along with solutions on culture - society, security, national defense - security. The work of Party building, innovating leadership methods, and strengthening trust among cadres, party members and people is given top priority.
Mr. Le Minh Tri believes that with the capacity, experience and solidarity of the whole province, Vinh Long will develop rapidly and sustainably in the new era.
