The 2025 Military-political Conference of the entire army will be organized by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense. Politburo member and President Luong Cuong attended and directed the conference.
General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense chaired the conference.


The conference was attended by General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics.
Also attending the conference were members of the Party Central Committee: Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung; Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Duc Thang; Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien; Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan; State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan.


The conference was attended by General Nguyen Tan Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff, Deputy Minister of National Defense; leaders of a number of central departments, ministries, branches and members of the Central Military Commission, leaders of the Ministry of National Defense; Heads of the General Staff, General Department of Politics; commanders of agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, General Phan Van Giang emphasized that today's conference is tasked with summarizing and evaluating the results of military and defense tasks in 2025.
The focus is on the results of strategic consultation on military, defense, combat readiness, training, education - training, and Party building; implementing the theme for 2025: Accelerating, making breakthroughs, determined to successfully complete the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 11th Army Party Congress and 16 key tasks that the Central Military Commission has identified since the beginning of the term.
Along with that, the conference proposed practical and specific tasks and solutions to effectively implement and complete the military and defense tasks in 2026.
