On the afternoon of December 6, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam received Chairman of NVIDIA Corporation Jensen Huang.
According to VNA, General Secretary To Lam welcomed NVIDIA Corporation Chairman Jensen Huang to visit Vietnam again, and congratulated Chairman Jensen Huang on the occasion of being honored and awarded the VinFuture Prize for his outstanding contributions to the cause of serving humanity and a better world.
General Secretary To Lam sincerely thanked and appreciated the efforts of Chairman Jensen Huang and the NVIDIA Corporation team in recent times, who have actively coordinated with the Vietnamese Government to promote cooperation and realize the commitment to "turn Vietnam into NVIDIA's second home" through the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research and Development Center and the AI Data Center in Vietnam.
The General Secretary considered this an important milestone for the beginning of the strategic cooperation relationship between Vietnam and NVIDIA Corporation, saying that successful cooperation with the world's leading technology corporations such as NVIDIA in research and development, technology transfer, and development of high-quality human resources plays a core role, helping Vietnam maximize the potential of AI to shape the future of technology, realizing development goals in the new era of the nation.
General Secretary To Lam expressed his hope that NVIDIA Corporation will continue to accompany Vietnam to develop the AI ecosystem, promote technological self-reliance; affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam consider NVIDIA Corporation as a leading strategic partner in the field of semiconductors and AI, committed to creating the most favorable conditions for the effective implementation of cooperation contents between the two sides, making Vietnam a new bright spot in the semiconductor industry, AI and innovation in the region and the world, while contributing to the common development of the world economy and human civilization.
