On the afternoon of March 16, in Hanoi, Politburo Member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired the fourth Conference of the National Assembly Party Committee Executive Committee for the term 2025 - 2030.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that the 4th Conference took place in a very successful atmosphere of the election of National Assembly deputies (NA deputies) of the 16th term and People's Council (HĐND) deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
Preliminary statistics to date show that the number of voters going to the polls nationwide reached 99.69% and no re-election was organized in any constituency.
Currently, localities are continuing to summarize and thoroughly review to report the election results to the National Election Council.
It is expected that on March 22, the National Election Council will meet to review, then announce the election results and carry out the next tasks, including verifying and recognizing the qualifications of elected deputies.
The National Assembly Chairwoman affirmed that the success of the election is the effort of the entire Party, army, and people, under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary To Lam, the entire political system has joined in with an active and urgent spirit, leading, directing, and implementing election work.
Regarding the content of the 4th Conference, the National Assembly Chairman said that the National Assembly Party Committee Executive Committee focused on discussing and approving a number of contents.
First, the Action Program of the National Assembly Party Committee Executive Committee to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; and at the same time consider, update, and supplement the Action Program of the National Assembly Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
The National Assembly Chairwoman stated clearly that this is an important orientation content to concretize the Party's major guidelines and orientations into practical tasks and solutions associated with the functions and tasks of the National Assembly and National Assembly agencies.
This is also the content that the Supervisory and Inspection Delegation of the Politburo and the Secretariat are working with the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and affiliated Party committees.

Third, the Conference gave opinions on the preliminary review report of Q1 work, deployment of Q2/2026 tasks of the National Assembly Party Committee, assessed the situation and results achieved, and clearly identified key tasks for the coming time.
