On April 29, in Rach Gia ward, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation came to offer flowers and incense at the Temple of Remembrance for Heroic Martyrs and People with Meritorious Services of the province to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and International Labor Day (May 1).

The Memorial Temple is a place to commemorate more than 21,000 heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services throughout the province - outstanding children who have persistently followed revolutionary ideals, dedicated their youth, and were ready to sacrifice for national independence and national defense. The National Assembly Chairwoman emphasized that this is a project of profound political, historical and humanistic significance, crystallizing the enthusiasm of many generations, a solemn gratitude space, a place to honor predecessors, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, heroic martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man visited and presented 50 gifts to wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services in An Giang province.

On the same day, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to 2 policy families at the house of Mr. Bui Van Truyen, born in 1946, 3/4 wounded soldier (51%), infected with chemical toxins and Mrs. Tran Thuy Can, born in 1953, wife of martyr Huynh Van Thanh.
Here, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man cordially inquired about health, expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and great contributions of policy families to the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland; and affirmed that the Party and State always care for the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services, considering this a sacred responsibility and morality.
