On August 29, information from the National Assembly Office said that the National Assembly Standing Committee has issued Resolution No. 424/NQ-UBTVQH16 on the establishment of the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Forum on law-making and the tasks and powers of members.
The Resolution includes 5 Articles 1 and takes effect from August 28, 2026.
Accordingly, the Organizing Committee will be established to organize the 2nd Forum on Law-Making (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee) according to Plan No. 181/KH UBTVQH16 dated August 19, 2026 of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
The composition of the Organizing Committee includes 1 Head of Department, Deputy Heads and Members.
The head of the committee is comrade Tran Thanh Man - Member of the Politburo, Chairman of the National Assembly.
The Standing Deputy Head is comrade Nguyen Khac Dinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.
The Deputy Heads include: Comrade Phan Chi Hieu - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee;
Comrade Phan Van Mai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Economic and Finance Committee;
Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment;
Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee;
Comrade Le Quang Manh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly - Chairman of the National Assembly Office.
The members include: Comrade Ngo Trung Thanh - Deputy Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee; Comrade Tran Hong Nguyen - Deputy Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee; Comrade Nguyen Huu Toan - Deputy Chairman of the Economic and Finance Committee; Comrade Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong - Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment;
Comrade Ta Van Ha - Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Society; Comrade Cao Thi Xuan - Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Council; Comrade Major General Nguyen Quoc Hung - Deputy Chairman of the Committee for National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs;
Comrade Cao Manh Linh - Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Petitions and Supervision; Comrade Tran Van Lam - Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Delegate Affairs; and Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Office.
According to the Resolution, the Organizing Committee has the task of directing and deciding on policies related to the preparation and organization of the Forum.
The tasks and powers of members of the Organizing Committee are implemented according to Plan No. 181/KH-UBTVQH16 and regulations in the Appendix attached to this Resolution.
The Organizing Committee concluded its activities after the 2nd Forum on Law-Making was held.
