The Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee emphasized the focus on inspecting areas prone to corruption; disciplining cases of causing stagnation and shirking responsibility.

Inspection and supervision are not private matters of inspection committees at all levels, not outsourced.

The national conference to study, study, thoroughly grasp and implement the Resolution of the 2nd Conference of the 14th Party Central Committee was held on the morning of April 13.

At the conference, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Sy Thanh thoroughly grasped the new and core issues of Resolution No. 05-NQ/TW, dated April 7, 2026 on innovating and improving the effectiveness of inspection, supervision and Party discipline.

According to the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, the revolution in streamlining the organizational structure of the political system along with strategic decisions is creating historical opportunities, turning points for the country's breakthrough development, but also facing many difficulties and challenges.

Many new violations are appearing more and more sophisticatedly, difficult to predict. Complex issues may arise in the process of developing the knowledge economy, digital economy, green economy, circular economy...

Regarding the guiding viewpoint, the Resolution has identified that inspection and supervision are not private matters of inspection committees at all levels, not outsourced, and do not shirk responsibility to inspection agencies.

The Resolution has identified 6 key tasks and solutions in the coming time.

First, create a strong change in the awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, and Party members towards inspection, supervision, and Party discipline.

Second, improve the quality of theoretical research, summarize practice; improve the Party's system of regulations on inspection, supervision and Party discipline.

Third, innovate the thinking and methods of Party inspection and supervision work, linking inspection and supervision with power control methods to ensure the maintenance of Party discipline and order.

All manifestations of degradation and violations, if detected early right at the Party cell, will not accumulate into major violations.

For inspection committees at all levels, comprehensively and effectively implement tasks according to the Party Charter and tasks assigned by Party committees, focusing on inspection when there are signs of violations.

Focus on inspecting urgent issues according to task requirements and the reality set out; key, sensitive, complex areas prone to corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; new tasks and powers such as controlling assets, income and recovering assets due to corruption, wastefulness, and negativity...

Expand and strengthen supervision, firmly grasp the situation through regular supervision, data supervision; promptly detect and prevent shortcomings and violations from the very beginning.

Monitor and urge the strict implementation of conclusions after inspection and supervision. Resolutely handle violations and discipline cases that cause stagnation, evasion, and shirking responsibility in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws.

Do not allow the situation of conclusions being made but slow to rectify, formal remediation

Fourth, comprehensive digital transformation in the Party Inspection sector; investing in facilities, technology, equipment, and working vehicles to meet requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Fifth, consolidate the organizational structure; improve the capacity and operational efficiency of inspection committees at all levels. Build a team of brave and honest inspection officials.

Build an organizational model of the inspection committee apparatus from the Central level to communes, wards, special zones and equivalents to ensure synchronization, streamlining, and effective and efficient operation. Focus on training inspection officials with in-depth expertise in some key areas with many risks of corruption, wastefulness, and negativity.

Sixth, close coordination between the Party's inspection agency and relevant agencies.

Strengthen coordination in inspecting and supervising the implementation of inspection, examination, and audit conclusions with the spirit of not allowing the situation of conclusions having but slow rectification, or formal rectification; strictly handle the responsibilities of organizations and individuals who are slow to coordinate, do not implement or do not fully implement the conclusions that have been issued.
