On the morning of August 8, the first official session of the Tay Ho Ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030, officially took place with the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; preserving and promoting the value of West Lake; developing Tay Ho Ward into a cultural, service and tourism center of the Capital".
Politburo member, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and gave a speech at the Tay Ho Ward Party Congress.
As the first congress of the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee after organizing the arrangement and merger of administrative units, the Congress marked an important shift in the organizational model, while opening a new development period with higher position, vision and requirements.
The Congress has very important tasks: Reviewing and evaluating the results of leadership in implementing political tasks in the period of 2020 - 2025; determining the direction, goals, tasks, and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term; contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 18th Congress of the City Party Committee, documents of the 14th National Party Congress.
This is an extensive political activity, of great significance and motivation for cadres, party members and people of Tay Ho ward to enter the new term with the aspiration to build Tay Ho into a unique cultural, service and tourism center of the capital.
Tay Ho ward was established on the basis of merging adjacent administrative units with a natural area of 10.72km2; population of 100,122 people, with 68 residential groups and 23,398 households.
The administrative boundaries of Tay Ho are completely included in the Urban Zoning Plan for West Lake and surrounding areas (A6), the historic inner-city area, including all wards around West Lake. The whole ward has 18 schools, 61 relics; 4,093 enterprises, 6,731 business households. The Tay Ho Ward Party Committee currently has 100 affiliated Party organizations with 11 grassroots Party Committees, 22 grassroots Party cells, 67 subordinate Party cells with a total of 6,139 Party members.
Party Secretary and Chairman of the Tay Ho Ward People's Council Nguyen Dinh Khuyen said that the 2020-2025 term will take place in the context of many fluctuations in the domestic and international situations. However, the previous local Party committees and authorities in Tay Ho have made efforts to rise up, achieving many comprehensive results, creating an important premise for the new development stage.
The work of building the Party and the political system of Tay Ho has been effectively implemented by Party committees at all levels. The models of " foursome Party cell is good", "four good Party members"; registration to take on "new work, difficult work" according to Conclusion No. 14-KL/TU; organizing Party cell activities according to Party groups in Party cell groups with many Party members... are recognized and highly appreciated by the city.
The Ward Party Committee has also comprehensively innovated leadership methods; strengthened inspection, supervision, and early and remote prevention of violations. Mass mobilization, administrative reform, digital transformation within the Party and the government have achieved many positive results...
