On August 8, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the 1st Congress of the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee, Hanoi, term 2025-2030.
Speaking at the Congress, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that in the past term, the entire political system of Tay Ho ward has strived to achieve and exceed the main targets set by the previous term; key tasks and breakthroughs were focused on and directed resolutely and effectively.
Emphasizing the need to accelerate, break through, be more rapid, and be more bold in the coming time and Tay Ho ward must set a higher and more breakthrough goal than the general level of the capital and the whole country, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh basically agreed with the orientations, tasks, and key solutions reported at the Congress, while suggesting key contents for the Congress to continue focusing on discussing, researching, clarifying, and providing synchronous and effective solutions to focus on implementation.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister especially emphasized the need to continue to do a good job in Party building, improve the leadership capacity, fighting strength of the Party organization and the quality of the cadres and Party members, build a cadres with moral qualities, capacity, prestige, and close attachment to the people.
Strictly implement and creatively apply the 5 principles and 5 leadership methods of the Party, implement democratic centralism; self-criticism and criticism; consolidate and promote solidarity and unity; closely attach to the people, contribute to bringing happiness and prosperity to the people; operate according to the Party's regulations and the Constitution and the law. Strengthen widespread supervision, inspection, urging, and supervision, early and from afar, but inspect with focus, key points, preventing corruption, negativity, and waste.
The Prime Minister also requested to focus and proactively review work, ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of local government at both levels, especially building and perfecting infrastructure for digital transformation; transforming the state and thinking from administrative, passive, heavy in management to a state of creating, proactively, actively serving, and solving problems of people and businesses.
Along with that, actively participate in implementing the "four pillar ministries" resolutions of the Politburo. Build a long-term strategy for socio-economic development, focusing on leading the task of developing a rapid and sustainable economy. Mobilize all resources for development, promote the strength of people and businesses; pay attention to and create all favorable conditions to attract investors and businesses.
The head of the Government noted that Tay Ho ward has a planning orientation and long-term vision for infrastructure development; urban construction and management in a modern direction; maximizing the potential of West Lake; participating in the implementation of major and key projects in the area on transport infrastructure, culture and arts...
Focus on developing culture - society, improving people's lives. Prioritize the development of cultural tourism associated with preserving and promoting the value of relics and heritages. Improve data digitalization capacity, promote administrative reform, digital transformation in handling administrative procedures of people.
Emphasizing that the period 2025-2030 is a period of special historical significance for the country, the Prime Minister believes that with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", with new momentum, new motivation, and new products, Tay Ho ward will confidently enter a new era with Hanoi and the whole country, an era of rising to develop richly, civilizedly and prosperously of the nation and people, increasingly happy and prosperous.
