In the heavily flooded area at km 1452+212 on National Highway 1, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the authorities to urgently evacuate all people in villages 1, 2 and 3 to safety, and at the same time prepare adequate response plans when heavy rain continues to develop complicatedly.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the relocation must be completed within the day, putting people's lives first, and at the same time requested localities to mobilize additional canoes and boats for rescue and relief.
Mr. Kieu Xuan Phung - Deputy Commander of the Military Command of Dien Dien Commune - said that on November 17 and 18, the authorities used canoes to evacuate many households from the danger zone.
However, there are still some households that have not refused to leave, so the locality continued to mobilize and forced relocation this morning.
Regarding the plan to regulate reservoirs in the province, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung said that the operation is carried out according to the regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (old), currently ministries and branches are closely monitoring to ensure downstream safety.
For the heavily flooded areas in Tay Nha Trang ward, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that Khanh Hoa province must evacuate all people at risk of insecurity today, ensuring high and safe temporary accommodation.
In response to the forecast of complicated heavy rain in Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Gia Lai, the Deputy Prime Minister said that the Central Government has directed localities to proactively plan response, and at the same time assigned Military Region 5 to provide maximum support for food, food - including dry food - along with medicine and necessities for people in flooded areas.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister assessed that this situation is still flooded for a long time, it is necessary to increase food support and prepare enough medicine for people.
According to the report, on November 17 and 18, Khanh Hoa province experienced widespread heavy rain, causing many localities to be heavily flooded; many roads were eroded, and traffic was cut off.
In particular, Khanh Le Pass (National Highway 27C) was hit by a landslide that killed 6 people and injured 19 people; Khanh Son Pass also suffered a landslide that killed 1 person, left 1 person missing and injured 7 people. Units and localities have evacuated 1,890 households with 6,507 people.
Preliminary statistics show that nearly 9,000 houses were flooded; about 7,000 hectares of rice, 10 hectares of crops, 100 hectares of fruit trees were submerged in water; 160 livestock and 11,521 poultry were swept away.
