Speaking to direct at the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security, Minister of Public Security, requested the City Police to strongly implement 2 directions of work, which are: firmly ensuring security and order in the entire city, absolutely not allowing passivity or surprise, creating a safe, safe, healthy, orderly, and disciplined environment for building and developing the city. Focus on doing well in ensuring border security, domestic security, network security, internal political security, religious security, economic security, worker security, and management of foreigners.
Continue to maintain achievements, exceeding the target of reducing social order crimes by at least 10%. Focus on fighting and eliminating criminal gangs and groups, preventing and combating environmental crimes, food safety and hygiene, smuggling, and counterfeit goods; reducing traffic accidents and fire and explosion accidents; determined to build and complete 30% of communes and wards without drugs by 2026, towards a city without drugs by 2030.
Focus on building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern City Police, striving to become a leading locality in the country to complete this goal before 2030.
Also on May 18, in Dong Nai city, Lieutenant General Le Xuan The, Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 7, chaired the ceremony to announce the decision to rename the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command to the Dong Nai City Military Command.
