On June 30, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Lan Huong chaired a conference to announce and hand over the city's decisions on personnel work in Vinh Tuy ward. The decisions take effect from July 1, 2025.
At the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phung Bich Nga Ward Party Committee announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary, the Deputy Secretary and the Inspection Committee of the Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
According to the decision, the Ward Party Committee Executive Committee consists of 21 members; the Standing Committee has 9 members; the Inspection Committee consists of 6 people. In which, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee. The two Deputy Secretaries are Ms. Phung Bich Nga and Mr. Vu Van Hoat. Mr. Bui Thanh Tung holds the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ward Party Committee.
Next, Ms. Phung Bich Nga announced the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council on appointing positions under the Vinh Tuy Ward People's Council for the 2021-2026 term. Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward People's Council. Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chief of Office of the District People's Council - People's Committee, holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Council.
Mr. Bui Quang Khai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Mai Ward, holds the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Ward People's Council; Mr. Ta Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, holds the position of Head of the Department of Culture - Society.
Regarding the People's Committee of Vinh Tuy Ward, Ms. Phung Bich Nga continued to announce the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council on appointing personnel for the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Accordingly, Mr. Vu Van Hoat - Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Hai Ba Trung District Party Committee - holds the position of Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
The two Vice Chairmen of the Ward People's Committee are Mr. Le Hoang Duc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Thanh Nhan Ward People's Committee - and Ms. Le Bich Hang - Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Hai Ba Trung District.
At the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee also announced the Decision of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city on recognizing 98 members of the Vinh Tuy Ward Fatherland Front Committee. The Standing Committee consists of 4 members, of which Mr. Duong Minh Duc is recognized as Chairman. The three Vice Chairmen are Ms. Du Thi Thu, Mr. Vu Cuong and Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang.
Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary - Chairman of the People's Council of Nguyen Quang Trung emphasized that this is an event of great significance, marking a turning point in the process of administrative reform and innovation of the working methods of the grassroots political system.
According to Mr. Trung, the two-level local government model is a major policy of the Party and State, towards a streamlined, efficient, close-to-the-people, close-to-people apparatus and better serving the people. He pledged that the ward government will take the lead in innovation and creativity, enhancing staff capacity, and improving work processes to meet the increasingly high requirements of people and businesses.
"We will organize the apparatus in a clear direction of people, work, responsibilities and efficiency; review the entire process to eliminate cumbersome and unnecessary procedures. Each cadre and civil servant will be assigned specific tasks, ensuring that the work is done quickly and accurately, without overlapping or wasting resources, Mr. Trung affirmed.
The Secretary of the Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee also said that the local government will always act according to the motto "serving the people". All decisions and activities aim to improve the quality of life of people; increase dialogue, publicity and transparency so that people are informed, discussed, inspected and enjoyed.
