On September 21, the National Assembly Standing Committee considered a summary report on the National Assembly's work on people's petitions in August 2026.
Presenting a summary report, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairwoman of the Committee for Petitions and Supervision Le Thi Nga said that voters and people highly appreciate the proactive, flexible, and drastic direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister.
Besides the achieved results, voters and people are interested in reviewing and handling money spent incorrectly on severance benefits, enjoying benefits according to Decree 178 and Decree No. 67 of the Government; health insurance cards expired while health insurance contributions have been made; many food poisoning cases affecting the health of many people continue to occur.
In particular, voters are concerned about the situation where some individuals with great influence on social networks take advantage of personal reputation to do business, advertise falsely, conceal revenue, and violate tax laws.
According to Chairwoman of the Committee for Petitions and Supervision Le Thi Nga, voters are also interested in the Hanoi City People's Committee organizing to collect people's opinions on the overall adjustment of the urban subdivision plan of the Red River (section from Hong Ha bridge to Me So bridge); Local adjustment of the urban subdivision plan of Hoan Kiem Lake area and surrounding areas.
The Standing Committee of the Committee for Petitions and Supervision proposed that the National Assembly Standing Committee propose to the Government and the Prime Minister to direct ministries, branches, and localities to continue to improve institutions, decentralize, and delegate powers associated with full transfer of authority... to avoid the situation of assigning more tasks but the implementing level does not meet the conditions to complete them.
Review, promulgate and advise on promulgating policies and laws in the field of culture and society, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising in the process of organization and implementation, including policies on cultural education, ethics, and healthy lifestyles for the young generation.
Strengthen the responsibility of state management agencies and educational institutions in managing and organizing the implementation of school meals, especially food sources, suppliers, menus and actual meals;
Accelerate connection, clean up and reuse data, strictly implement the principle of not requiring people and businesses to provide information and documents from state agencies that already exist.
Strengthen the organization and implementation of legal dissemination and education activities to raise people's vigilance and prevent the risk of being defrauded and appropriating property from some individuals who take advantage of their reputation to do business and advertise falsely.
Hanoi City People's Committee ensures complete and public synthesis of the results of receiving and explaining the contents of people's opinions on the planning of some key projects of the city in the coming time.
