The Ministry of Home Affairs has just issued a document requesting a review of all cases of resignation under Decree 178 after the State Audit pointed out some errors. This information continues to receive the attention and monitoring of many readers.
At the press conference providing press information for the third quarter of 2026 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr. Vu Hai Nam - Director of the Department of Organization - Staffing (Ministry of Home Affairs) said that through monitoring and preliminary conclusions according to data from the State Audit Office, ministries, branches, and localities have relatively well implemented policies related to arranging and reorganizing the apparatus.
According to Mr. Nam, the audit recommendations mainly lie in the implementation stage. Specific assessments need to be fully implemented based on the explanatory reports of localities.
Mr. Nam said that the policies were issued in a timely manner, while ministries, branches, and localities implemented them in a short time and with urgent progress. Decree 178 was issued on December 31, 2024, Decree 67 was issued on March 15, 2025. Localities focused on resolving policies immediately after implementing organizational structure arrangements.
In the process of implementation, localities, ministries, and sectors also cannot avoid understandings and ways of doing things that are not really unified. Specific contents through inspection, audit and explanation reports of localities will be summarized by the Ministry of Home Affairs after receiving complete information on September 15.
According to Lao Dong's records, some localities have organized reviews, explanations, and clarifications of the State Audit's recommendations related to the implementation of policies according to Decree 178 and Decree 67.
In Dak Lak, the Department of Finance presides over and coordinates with the Department of Home Affairs and related units to review, explain, and clarify each recommendation of the State Audit Office for cases resolved according to Decree 178, amended and supplemented in Decree 67.
The Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province has also established 6 teams to review dossiers of cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees who are resolved policies according to the above decrees. According to the decision, 6 working groups started reviewing from September 8.
In Nghe An, the Provincial Department of Home Affairs has assigned a professional department to continue reviewing the settlement of policies and regimes for officials, civil servants, and public employees who quit their jobs according to Decree 178 of the Government.
According to the leader of the Nghe An Department of Home Affairs, previously, the process of reviewing and appraising dossiers for cases of early retirement and resignation was carried out in many steps. Through review, Nghe An has not yet detected errors related to subjects and dossiers for settlement of regimes.
In Gia Lai, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Home Affairs to review the implementation of policies and regimes for officials, civil servants, public employees and employees in the process of arranging the organizational structure according to Decree 178 dated December 31, 2024 of the Government, at the request of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
