On February 5, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Ba Trung Ward coordinated with the People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung Ward (Hanoi City) to organize a Conference to collect opinions and confidences from voters at their place of residence for 2 people introduced to run for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, and 1 person introduced to run for People's Council deputies of Giang Vo Ward.
The two people introduced to run for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term are Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Mr. Ngo Van Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Party Committee Standing Committee, State Auditor General.
The person introduced to run for election as a People's Council delegate of Giang Vo Ward is Mr. Nguyen Trong Phuc - teacher of Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School, Hanoi.
Based on the study of dossiers and the working process of each candidate, voters' opinions unanimously assessed that all 3 people fully met the standards and conditions to be nominated as National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and delegates of the People's Council of Giang Vo ward.
The candidates are also worthy of being typical delegates in terms of political qualities, ethics, capacity and prestige; have been and are taking on many important responsibilities of the Party, State, locality and completing assigned tasks well.
At the conference, 100% of voters attending voted, expressing absolute confidence in 2 candidates for the 16th National Assembly and 1 candidate for the Ward People's Council, term 2026-2031.
On behalf of the candidates who were consulted for comments and confidence from voters at their place of residence, Hanoi Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that the City Steering Committee always closely follows the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies, closely coordinates with relevant agencies and units to organize voter contact conferences in accordance with regulations, ensuring democracy and substance.
Through the meetings, the heartfelt, responsible, and emotional opinions of voters were listened to and fully absorbed. This is both an honor and a responsibility for the delegates to continue to strive and contribute worthily to the people's trust.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc affirmed that, with the responsibility of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies, the comrades introduced for candidacy will seriously and fully comply with regulations, develop specific, practical and effective action programs; regularly maintain close contact with voters, listen to and truthfully reflect the opinions and aspirations of the people.
