Lam Dong - Da Lat City is actively handling debts and preparing for financial settlement before arranging administrative units.

On April 17, the People's Committees of Da Lat and Lam Dong cities assigned leaders of agencies and units of the city to implement financial content to prepare for the work of arranging and organizing the apparatus.

Accordingly, the heads of agencies and units will organize the review and final handling of debts and advances before the time of administrative unit arrangement. At the same time, review and thoroughly implement the finances stated in the conclusions and recommendations of the inspection agency.

Fully account for and store documents and books in accordance with regulations. Prepare and submit project settlement reports for completion of projects that have been accepted and handed over for use.

Previously, on April 16, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to collect voters' opinions and representatives of households on the Project on the arrangement of provincial and commune-level administrative units in the area.

The collection of opinions from voters and representatives of households is aimed at serving the People's Council meetings at all levels on the arrangement of administrative units in the area; ensuring publicity, democracy, and compliance with legal regulations.

According to Decision No. 759/QD-TTg dated April 14 on approving the Project to reorganize and reorganize administrative units at all levels and build a model of organizing local government at both levels, Dak Nong province, Binh Thuan province and Lam Dong province become a new province called Lam Dong.

This province will have the largest natural area in the country with 24,233 km2 and a population of 3,324,400 people.

The administrative and political center of Lam Dong province is located in the current city of Da Lat.
