According to the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong was appointed to participate in the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoi An ward, replacing Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh.
Along with that, Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoi An ward, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Chief of Office of Da Nang City People's Committee.
Mr. Tran Chi Cuong was born in 1973, native of Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang city. He has a high-level political theory level; his specialties include University of Tourism - Hotel Business Administration, University of Foreign Languages majoring in English and Master of Business Administration.
During his work, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong held many important positions. He used to hold the position of Deputy Director of Da Nang City Department of Tourism (old), Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the City People's Council and Deputy Head of the City National Assembly Delegation for the 2021-2026 term.
At the 12th session of the Da Nang City People's Council, term X, 2021-2026, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee.
After Da Nang and Quang Nam implemented the merger of administrative units, he continued to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee. At the first session of the Da Nang City People's Council, term XI, 2026-2031, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong was re-elected as Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.
