Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Le Trung Chinh has just signed Decision No. 1753/QD-UBND on the establishment of a Permanent Team to directly receive, guide, and answer questions related to the arrangement of administrative units at all levels and the development of a model of organizing local government at two levels.
The Standing Committee is headed by Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee - Deputy Head of the Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Huu Loi.
The team is responsible for receiving feedback, proposals, and recommendations from agencies, units, and localities; guiding, answering, and promptly handling contents under its authority, ensuring proper implementation of the policies of the Central and the City Party Committee.
In addition, the Standing Committee will closely monitor the progress, proactively advise and synthesize reports to competent authorities to remove difficulties and obstacles, so as not to affect the general roadmap in arranging administrative organizations and building urban government according to the two-level model.
The establishment of the Standing Group is a specific implementation step to ensure proactiveness and flexibility in organizing implementation, while improving the effectiveness of coordination between departments, branches and localities in the implementation period of key tasks on reforming the government apparatus.
According to the policy of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, on June 21, the city will officially operate a trial operation model of new communes and wards.
This is an important step in the roadmap to implement the plan to merge Quang Nam province and Da Nang city to establish the new Da Nang city under the Central Government.
