On the afternoon of August 18, the Con Co Special Zone Party Committee held its 1st Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
In recent times, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Con Co special zone have united, overcome difficulties, and achieved many important results. For the 2025 - 2030 term, Con Co special zone identifies three key tasks, including: improving the leadership capacity of party organizations and party members; promoting administrative reform, applying information technology, digital transformation; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the administrative apparatus.
In particular, completing the Project "Developing Con Co to be strong in economy, strong in national defense and security", building a mechanism to attract potential investors.
In his speech, Commander of the Military Command of Con Co province Doan Sinh Hoa emphasized that the Party Committee of the special zone needs to clearly position the role and position of Con Co in the overall development of the province; focus on developing tourism - services; strongly applying science - technology, digital transformation; and at the same time pay attention to investing in civil works and cultural institutions.
The Congress also announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Con Co Special Zone Party Committee. Comrade Tran Xuan Anh was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Con Co Special Zone, term 2025 - 2030.
Previously, at the discount meeting, the Con Co Special Zone Party Committee also launched a fundraising campaign to support the brotherly Cuban people.
