On the afternoon of October 2, the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, entered the closing session with the participation of 650 delegates, including 200 guests and 450 official delegates, representing more than 147,000 party members in the whole province.

The fair took place in a solemn, united and unified atmosphere, demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of the delegates, while ensuring the necessary conditions for the opening session and the entire Congress program.
The Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee unanimously introduced Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - to preside over the ad lit session.

At the working session, the Congress elected a Presidium consisting of 18 comrades, a Secretariat of 3 comrades and an Inspection Committee of 7 comrades.
On behalf of the Presidium, Mr. Mai Viet Trung - Head of the Organizing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee - presented the draft Working Program of the official session.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee - represented the Congress Presidium to present the Congress's Working Regulations.

Mr. Truong Van Dat - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council - represented the Presidium to present the Congress's Internal Regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - on behalf of the Presidium announced the list of expected 450 official delegates divided into 9 groups to discuss and vote on the main targets.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - on behalf of the Presidium guided the consultation by votes on 33 targets, including 10 economic targets, 14 social targets, 7 environmental targets and 2 Party building targets.
The congress is an important political event, marking a new development journey of Gia Lai province; taking place at a time of historical significance, when the whole country has just completed the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus and after 40 years of renovation, the foundation, potential, position and international prestige of the country have been raised to new heights.


Before the banquet session, delegates offered flowers at the Nguyen Sinh Sac - Nguyen Tat Thanh Monument (Quy Nhon Ward).
At the closing session, delegates donated to support people in provinces that suffered heavy damage due to storm Bualoi. Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung said that storm Bualoi has caused heavy damage to people, property and infrastructure in many localities in the North and North Central regions. Previously, Gia Lai also allocated 6 billion VND from the budget to share difficulties with affected provinces.
