On November 6, at Son La Provincial Police, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work.
At the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, the leader of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Colonel Dang Trong Cuong, Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of Son La Provincial Police.
At the same time, the Minister of Public Security announced the decision to transfer and appoint Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van, Director of Son La Provincial Police, to take up the position of Commander of the Mobile Police Command from November 6.
At the announcement ceremony, the leaders of the Son La Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee also announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on appointing Colonel Dang Trong Cuong, Director of the Provincial Police Department, to join the Party Executive Committee, member of the Party Committee's Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Police Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung congratulated Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van and Colonel Dang Trong Cuong on being entrusted with new tasks by the Ministry of Public Security's leadership.
The Deputy Minister of Public Security acknowledged the achievements that the comrades have made in the past, contributing positively to the results of the work of ensuring political security and social order and safety in the localities. He believed that in their new positions, the comrades would quickly approach the work, maintain internal solidarity, promote collective intelligence, do a good job of advising the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to develop plans, organize forces to absolutely protect the safety of the country's important political targets and events, not to be passive or surprised; focus on seriously implementing the peak periods of attacking and suppressing crime.
At the same time, advise local Party committees and authorities to ensure political security, order and social safety in the province; build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern police force to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
