On November 6, Lao Dong news source reported that authorities are searching for the whereabouts of the two pilots and the location of the Yak-130 plane that crashed in Tay Son district (Binh Dinh province) at noon the same day.
The Yak-130 training aircraft (serial number 2101) that had the accident belonged to Air Force Regiment 940, Air Force Officer School located in Binh Dinh province.
According to information from the Military Command of Binh Dinh province, at around 11am the same day, a Yak-130 training aircraft encountered an accident, so two pilots parachuted out of the aircraft. The location where the two pilots parachuted to safety was in Tay Xuan commune (Tay Son district).
Currently, authorities are coordinating with local authorities to search for the crashed plane and the whereabouts of the two pilots.
