On February 6, in Duc Lap commune (Lam Dong), Military Region 7 in coordination with Lam Dong province solemnly organized the opening ceremony of the 11th "Spring of Soldiers" program, year 2026.

The program was attended by General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA).
Also attending were Lieutenant General Le Xuan The - Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 7; Lieutenant General Tran Vinh Ngoc - Political Commissar of Military Region 7.

On the local side were Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, leaders of Military Region 7, Lam Dong province and a large number of delegates, businesses, and accompanying units.
Before the opening ceremony, General Nguyen Trong Nghia and delegates offered flowers and incense at Duc Lap Martyrs' Cemetery - the resting place of more than 300 martyrs who sacrificed in the resistance wars, fighting to protect the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Here, General Nguyen Trong Nghia and delegates expressed their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs; determined to unite and strive to build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Army, contributing to building the homeland of Lam Dong to become increasingly rich and beautiful.

Major General Tran Chi Tam - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7 - said that through 10 times of organization, the "Spring Soldiers" program has become a political - social activity of profound significance, vividly showing the solidarity between the army and the people.
The 11th "Spring Soldiers" program, 2026, continues to receive the attention and direction of the Heads of the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Politics and the close coordination of Lam Dong province.

After attending the opening ceremony and visiting the "0-dong Spring Market", General Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and presented Tet greetings to officials, people, and soldiers in Quang Truc commune (Lam Dong); and also attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 60 houses under the project "Residential points adjacent to border militia posts".

Here, the General cordially visited and encouraged policy families, ethnic minorities, cadres and soldiers on duty on the border line.

General Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that Binh Ngo Spring 2026 brings more new joy as the country has just completed the revolution of arranging and streamlining the organizational structure.

Effectively deploying the implementation of the two-level local government model; celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and successfully organizing the 14th National Party Congress.

The General emphasized that the XIV Congress not only summarizes the important achievements of the country in the past term, but also sets out goals and great aspirations in the next term, soon making Vietnam a developed country with a socialist orientation.
The merger of the three provinces of Lam Dong, Dak Nong and Binh Thuan has opened up a new development space, creating a premise for breakthroughs in the future," General Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized.

General Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated Military Region 7 and Lam Dong province for coordinating to organize the program with the participation and contribution of nearly 30 businesses and philanthropists.
Through this, many practical activities have been implemented such as organizing military-civilian Tet meals; medical examinations, medicine distribution, and gifts for more than 650 people; starting construction of 60 houses at residential points adjacent to the border militia post in Quang Truc commune.

The program also inaugurated and handed over 10 houses of military-civilian solidarity; awarded cultural and sports facilities to serve the people.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee deployed the Military-Civilian Tet "0-dong Spring Market - spreading love", giving 1,000 gifts to compatriots.

The program also organized working delegations to visit, encourage, and present more than 2,500 gifts to policy families, poor households, cadres and soldiers in border areas, ethnic minorities, religious establishments and schools in the area.
