This afternoon (6.), at the Presidential Palace, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong worked with the Office of the President on the work in June and key tasks in July 2025. Also attending was Central Party Committee member, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
At the meeting, the leaders of the Office of the President reported to the President on the results of work in June; and set out key directions and tasks in the coming time.
After listening to the report and comments, President Luong Cuong highly appreciated the efforts of the Office of the President for proactively planning and preparing timely and thoughtful contents.
The President said that in the context of many new, rapid and complicated developments in the world and the region, under the leadership of the Party and the efforts of the entire political system and people, our country is urgently and drastically implementing major turning points to bring the country into a new era of prosperous and prosperous development.
The President acknowledged and commended the Office of the President for advising and submitting to the State leaders for timely rewards to collectives and individuals for commendation at important events; commendation for serving the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of the political system, implementing the model of local government at 2 levels.
The Office of the President successfully organized the 9th Congress of the Office of the President Party Committee, term 2025-2030 in accordance with the direction and approval of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies.
Regarding the direction and tasks in the coming time, the President noted that, in addition to opportunities and advantages, it is forecasted that many difficulties and challenges will arise related to the organization and operation of the new government model, large workload; requiring the Office of the President to maximize the proactive and flexible spirit in developing the plan program; at the same time, actively grasp the situation, research and coordinate, prepare to promptly advise on practical, in-depth contents, ensuring progress and quality of work to serve the leaders of the Party and State.
The President emphasized that in the coming time, many important activities will take place, in which from July 1, 2025, the 2-level local government model will be officially put into operation; Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party will continue to be held at many agencies and localities; the 78th anniversary of the 27th War Invalids and Martyrs' Day is being celebrated nationwide; the whole country is focusing on preparing for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
That context requires continuing to promote the internal and external activities of the President and Vice President to promptly direct and encourage ministries, branches, localities, cadres and people of all walks of life when the two-level government model officially comes into operation; promote the strength of national solidarity, promote internal resources, take advantage of external resources, maintain a peaceful and stable environment for rapid and sustainable national development.
The President requested the Office to promptly develop a specific working program, clearly assign work, promote close coordination within and outside the agency, and the sense of responsibility of each individual.
