On November 19, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 5709/QD-UBND on the establishment of the Hanoi City Election Committee.
According to the decision, the Hanoi City Election Committee consists of 37 members.
1. Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the City People's Council is the Chairwoman of the Election Committee;
2. Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, is Vice Chairman of the Election Committee;
3. Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee is Vice Chairman of the Election Committee;
4. Ms. Bui Huyen Mai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Vice Chairwoman of the Election Committee;
5. Mr. Tran The Cuong, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, is the Standing Vice Chairman of the Election Committee;
6. Mr. Duong Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, is Vice Chairman of the Election Committee;
7. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Home Affairs, is a Standing Member;
8. Mr. Ha Minh Hai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee is a member of the Election Committee;
9. Mr. Do Anh Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee is a member of the Election Committee;
10. Mr. Nguyen Doan Toan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee, is a member of the Election Committee;
11. Mr. Tran Dinh Canh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the City Party Committee is a member of the Election Committee;
12. Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the City Police, is a member of the Election Committee;
13. Major General Dao Van Nhan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command, is a member of the Election Committee;
14. Mr. Duy Hoang Duong, member of the City Party Committee, Head of the Legal Committee of the City People's Council, is a member of the Election Committee;
15. Mr. Tran Duc Hoat, member of the City Party Committee, Chief Inspector of the City is a member of the Election Committee;
16. Ms. Bach Lien Huong, member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, is a member of the Election Committee;
17. Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, is a member of the Election Committee;

The Hanoi City Election Committee performs its duties and powers as prescribed in Article 23 of the Law on Election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies.
The standing agency of the City Election Committee is located at the Department of Home Affairs.
