As Lao Dong reported, on the afternoon of February 19, the People's Council of Thai Binh province, term XVII, 2021-2026, held a meeting to resolve urgent work.
At the meeting, delegates voted to approve the resolution on the establishment of 5 specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Thai Binh province, including: Establishing the Thai Binh Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance.
Establish Thai Binh Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Construction and the Department of Transport.
Establish the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Information and Communications.
Establish the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Thai Binh on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
Establish the Thai Binh Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Immediately after the above meeting, the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the resolution, the decision to establish 5 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee and personnel work.

Ms. Thai Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - holds the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Thai Binh. 5 Deputy Directors of the Thai Binh Department of Science and Technology include: Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Mr. Pham Van Quang, Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan, Mr. Vu Xuan Thanh and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thai.
