Hoa Binh - A lecturer at the Northwest College of Electromechanics has just been expelled from the Party for gambling.

On September 21, the Inspection Committee of Lac Thuy District Party Committee said that the unit had just held its 39th meeting to consider a proposal to discipline comrade Trinh Viet Do, a member of Training Cell 1, Party Committee of Tay Bac College of Electromechanics.

According to the Lac Thuy District Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Mr. Trinh Viet Do is a party member, civil servant, and lecturer, but he lacks self-cultivation, training, and has degraded morality and lifestyle. He participated in gambling with money in the form of dice shaking, with the amount of money he put into gambling being 2.4 million VND; he has been temporarily detained by the Lac Thuy District Police Investigation Agency for the crime of "Gambling" as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 321 of the Penal Code.

Comrade Do violated the regulations on what party members are not allowed to do; affecting the reputation of the party organization, agency and individual.

Based on the nature, extent and consequences, the Lac Thuy District Party Committee's Inspection Commission decided to expel comrade Trinh Viet Do from the Party.

According to the reporter's investigation, the Northwest College of Electromechanics is located in Chi Ne town, Lac Thuy district and is a unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
