According to the e-Portal of the Central Inspection Committee (UBKTTW), on August 14, 2026, in Hanoi, the UBKTTW held its 11th Meeting under the chairmanship of Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the UBKTTW Tran Sy Thanh.
At the Meeting, the UBKTTW considered and concluded on some of the following contents:
Considering the Report proposing disciplinary action against violating party members at the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and Dong Nai city; UBKTTW found:
(1) Tran Quy Kien, former: Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment; (2) Nguyen Thi Gai, former: Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of One Member Limited Liability Company of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, has declined in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned responsibilities and tasks; violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, adversely affecting the prestige of the Party organization and agencies, units, and localities where they work, to the extent that disciplinary action must be taken.
Considering the content, nature, severity, consequences, and causes of violations; based on Party regulations, the UBKTTW proposed competent authorities to consider and discipline the individuals: Tran Quy Kien, Nguyen Thi Gai.
Also at the meeting, reviewing the results of supervision for the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Southern Food Corporation, UBKTTW noted: Besides the advantages and achieved results, there are also some violations and shortcomings.
The UBKTTW requested the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and the Party Secretary of the Southern Food Corporation to promote their strengths, promptly lead and direct self-criticism, seriously draw lessons, and issue specific plans to overcome the violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out, and report the results to the UBKTTW.
Also at this session, the UBKTTW considered and resolved complaints about Party discipline in 1 case and concluded on some other important contents.
