Accordingly, on September 25, the Ministry of Public Security organized a public consultation on the consideration of rewards for the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police.
According to the Ministry of Public Security, the above proposal is based on Article 46 of Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation.
Therefore, the Ministry of Public Security is seeking opinions on conferring the title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" on the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police.

Previously, on September 24, the Ministry of Public Security also organized a public consultation to award the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces during the resistance war to the Phu Yen Security Department (now the Phu Yen Provincial Police).

Also last week, on September 26, the People's Council of Quang Nam province held the 26th session, term X, term 2021-2026, elected new personnel and considered and decided on many important socio-economic issues of this province.
At the meeting, delegates carried out personnel work, electing two additional members of the Provincial People's Committee: Mr. Nguyen Huu Hop - Director of the Provincial Police Department and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam - Director of the Department of Construction.
As a result, 100% of the delegates present approved the resolution on the election results for the positions of members of the Provincial People's Committee for Mr. Nguyen Huu Hop and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam.
Previously, on August 20, the Ministry of Public Security announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work, transferring and appointing Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop - Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police - to take up the position of Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police from August 21.
