Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has just signed Decision 1018/QD-TTg amending and supplementing Decision 1286/QD-TTg dated October 25, 2022 of the Prime Minister on approving the Program to ensure vaccine supply for vaccination until 2030.
Accordingly, Clause 2, Clause 3, Section I, Article 1, Decision No. 1286/QD-TTg dated October 25, 2022 stipulates the Program's objectives of ensuring vaccine supply for vaccination by 2030 as follows:
By 2025, master the technology of producing 10 types of vaccines; produce at least 03 types of vaccines, including a combination disease vaccine in 5 in 1 room for diseases: Measles, whooping cough, Vanhien, Haemophilus Influenzae ( Hib) and one of two diseases of Parents or Hepatitis B.
By 2030, master the technology to produce 15 types of vaccines; produce at least 05 types of vaccines, domestically produced vaccines to ensure compliance with standards equivalent to international standards.
Decision No. 1018/QD-TTg amends and supplements Clause 2, Clause 3, Section I, Article 1.
Accordingly, the above goal is to be revised to master the technology of producing 15 types of vaccines by 2030; domestically produced vaccines must meet standards equivalent to international standards.
In addition, at least 05 vaccines have been produced, including a disease prevention vaccine combined with 5 in 1 ward for diseases: Measles, whooping cough, Scabies, Scabies, Haemophilus Influenzae ( Hib) and one of two diseases of Syphilis or Hepatitis B".
The Ministry of Health shall preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to urgently develop a Project on vaccine production to prevent the above diseases, in which a specific implementation roadmap is determined and reported to the Prime Minister in the third quarter of 2026.
