On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), June 28, 1951 - June 28, 2026, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam sent congratulatory telegrams to the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party, all CPP party members and the Cambodian people with the warmest congratulations.

The 75th anniversary of its establishment is a milestone of special significance in the CPP's development history, marking a glorious journey associated with the destiny of the nation and the country of Cambodia. Through many difficult and challenging periods, the CPP has continuously grown, gathered and promoted the strength of national unity, leading the Cambodian people to achieve historically significant victories in the cause of national liberation, bringing the country out of the genocidal disaster, firmly protecting revolutionary achievements, building and developing the country on the path of peace, stability and prosperity, contributing to enhancing Cambodia's position and prestige in the region and internationally.
The Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people warmly congratulate those great achievements and believe that, promoting the glorious traditions and valuable experiences nurtured through practice, under the leadership of the Central Executive Committee headed by Comrade Hun Sen, the CPP will continue to play a key role in strategic orientation and consolidating solidarity, successfully implementing the Party Platform for the period 2023-2028 and the Pentagon Strategy of the Government term VII, completing the goal of becoming a high-middle-income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2050.
Entering a new stage of development for each country in the context of the world and regional situation continuing to develop rapidly and complicatedly, the Communist Party of Vietnam consistently always values and prioritizes relations with Cambodia; determined to join the CPP, State and people of Cambodia to inherit, preserve and nurture the invaluable common asset of traditional solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia, bringing the relations between the two countries to develop more and more substantively, meeting the interests and aspirations of the people of each country, making positive contributions to peace, cooperation and development in the region and in the world.
Wishing the good neighborly relationship, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability between the two Parties, the two States and the people of Vietnam and Cambodia to be eternally sustainable.
On this occasion, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung sent congratulatory letters to Member of the CPP Standing Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, Head of the CPP Central Committee for Foreign Affairs Prak Sokhonn.
