On July 21, in Hanoi, the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission held a conference to review and give opinions on a number of work contents. General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - chaired the conference.
Also attending the conference were members of the Central Military Commission: General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense.
At the conference, delegates listened to representatives of competent agencies present a draft report on the criteria for considering the Government's Emulation Flag, the Ministry of National Defense's Emulation Flag for each year and the report on adjusting the detailed planning of the Vietnam Military History Museum.
After listening to the reports of the leaders of the General Department of Politics and the commanders of the Department of Enterprise (General Department of Logistics - Engineering), delegates attending the conference gave their opinions to improve the contents, creating a favorable basis to ensure that when implemented, it will be effective and have long-term value.
Concluding the conference, General Phan Van Giang acknowledged and commended the competent agencies for preparing quality reports, closely following the instructions of the head of the Ministry of National Defense; requested the agencies to absorb the opinions of the delegates, continue to coordinate and adjust the contents of the report to ensure quality and suitability.
Regarding the content of adjusting the detailed planning of the Vietnam Military History Museum, General Phan Van Giang requested to adjust some specific contents in the project planning.
First of all, it is required that relevant agencies and units balance, calculate, and reserve appropriate land area for reserve use for long-term arising situations. At the same time, research and include outdoor artifacts of the museum of general departments, military branches, and service branches integrated into the Vietnam Military History Museum, ensuring unity, diversity, and liveliness in display. Continue to invest in and use digital technology to integrate data and information, creating convenience for visitors and learning about history.
Faced with the reality of increasingly large visitors, General Phan Van Giang requested agencies and units to continue researching, adjusting, arranging and expanding additional areas for houses, basements for parking as well as premises for logistics, resting, entertainment, ensuring good response to diverse needs, creating satisfaction and convenience for tourists.
