The 14th National Congress of the Party (Congress XIV), a major political event of the Party, State and people, is approaching very closely.
Our people are very much looking forward to the 14th Party Congress with strategic decisions for Vietnam to make strong strides in the new era, successfully implementing the country's development goals to 2030 when the Party celebrates its 100th anniversary of establishment (1930-2030); realizing the development vision to 2045, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945-2045).
Under the direct, comprehensive and drastic direction of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary To Lam, the preparation for the 14th Congress has been carried out with a spirit of innovation, proactiveness and high responsibility.
Document preparation has implemented an important reform step, integrating 3 reports: Political Report, Socio-Economic Report and Party building summary report into a unified and synchronous Political Report.
At the press conference of the 14th Party Congress, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Trinh Van Quyet, the draft documents not only summarize the journey in the past 5 years, but also identify goals and tasks in the next term, clearly showing strategic thinking, long-term vision and national development orientation to the mid-21st century.
Notably, for the first time in the Congresses, the Political Report is built with a specific Action Program, clearly defining the goals, tasks, roadmap, resources and responsibilities of each agency and unit, ensuring that the Resolution of the Congress can be implemented immediately after being passed.
In particular, the collection of opinions from cadres, party members and people from all walks of life on the draft Documents of the 14th Congress has become a widespread political activity throughout society.
In a short time, nearly 14 million opinions participated, showing great concern, responsibility and consensus between the Party's will and the people's hearts.
The comments were seriously and selectively received, completing the draft Document, contributing to improving the quality, practicality and persuasiveness of the documents submitted to the Congress.
The 14th National Party Congress is a major political event, a milestone opening a new era of development for the country.
With the foundation of 40 years of Doi Moi, with innovative thinking, long-term vision and high political determination, the 14th Congress is expected to make historical decisions, creating strong motivation for Vietnam to move strongly into the era of rich and prosperous development, steadily advancing towards socialism.
