On January 16, at the conference summarizing the Quang Trung Campaign, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Vice Chairwoman, Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - said that immediately after the campaign was launched, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the VFF urgently got involved, clearly defining that it is not just simply supporting housing for people, but also a special political - social task.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front has proactively directed and coordinated with socio-political organizations to deploy the establishment of shock formations to participate in relocation, repair, and housing construction, and at the same time organize support activities for forces participating in the campaign.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front has directed the Fatherland Front of provinces, especially provinces heavily affected by storms and floods, to urgently coordinate with the government and local functional sectors to review and accurately statistically determine each household with damaged or collapsed houses.
Perform well the function of supervision in the process of building and repairing houses for people; and at the same time proactively mobilize, receive and allocate relief resources, ensuring publicity, transparency, and targeting.
Through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, the Central Front has received over 700 billion VND from organizations, businesses, and individuals at home and abroad to support people in the Central and Central Highlands to overcome the consequences of storms, floods, and natural disasters.
From the beginning of October 2025, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, allocated over 960 billion VND to the central provinces, of which 450 billion VND was allocated through the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the provinces, contributing to ensuring resources to implement the Quang Trung Campaign in the locality.
In particular, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has closely coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to develop a comprehensive plan to continue allocating over 512 billion VND, focusing on three groups of subjects.
First, supporting households whose houses were repaired and newly built during the Quang Trung Campaign with a level of 5 million VND/household; supporting households whose houses were completely collapsed with a level of 10 million VND/household.
Second, support for about 100,000 households in the central provinces affected by flooding and drifting household items, with an additional support level of 3 million VND/household.
Third, continue to mobilize and support over 40 billion VND for households whose houses were collapsed or swept away by natural disasters from the beginning of 2000 to date nationwide.
In addition to the coordination role and supervisory function according to the provisions of law, the VFF and socio-political organizations continue to focus on coordinating to correctly identify beneficiaries, strengthen supervision to promptly prevent and detect acts of personal abuse, personal gain, negativity, corruption, and wastefulness in the process of implementing the campaign.
Ms. Ha Thi Nga affirmed that the results of the Quang Trung Campaign have made a very important contribution to helping localities affected by storms and floods complete the goal of not allowing people to live for a long time in dilapidated houses; ensuring that people have stable houses, worship ancestors, celebrate Spring, celebrate Lunar New Year and enter the new year 2026.
This is also a profoundly meaningful activity before the 14th National Party Congress.
The figures on houses being repaired and newly built; on resources mobilized and allocated in a timely manner; on the progress of completing the campaign are vivid proof of the strength of the great national unity bloc.
When organized methodically, with high political determination, effective coordination and putting the interests of the people first, we will definitely succeed," Ms. Ha Thi Nga emphasized.
