Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and promulgated a Resolution establishing the Supervisory Delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee on "The implementation of policies and laws on social insurance in the period 2021 - 2026".

The Standing Deputy Head of the delegation is Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Society Nguyen Dac Vinh.
The Deputy Heads of Delegation include: Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council Lam Van Man; Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Le Tan Toi.
In addition, there are members of the Supervisory Delegation; Delegates and experts invited to participate in the Supervisory Delegation.
According to the Resolution, the purpose of supervision is to assess the promulgation and organization of the implementation of policies and laws on social insurance, in which the focus is on assessing the promulgation of detailed regulations, implementation guidelines and implementation organization.
Clearly point out the shortcomings, limitations, causes and responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and individuals; draw lessons learned to improve the effectiveness of implementing policies and laws on social insurance;
Proposing and proposing solutions to improve policies, laws and other relevant legal regulations, improve the efficiency of organizational implementation and handle responsibilities for relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals in implementing policies and laws on social insurance.
Regarding the scope of supervision, it is the implementation of policies and laws on social insurance nationwide in the period 2021-2026.
The subjects of supervision include: the Government, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense and relevant ministries and sectors; People's Councils, People's Committees of provinces and cities and relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals.
The Resolution also clearly states the contents of supervision including: The promulgation and completion of policies and laws on social insurance; the organization of the implementation of policies and laws on social insurance; responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and individuals in implementing policies and laws on social insurance.
The Head of the Supervisory Delegation is responsible for organizing and directing the activities of the Supervisory Delegation. When deemed necessary, it is proposed that the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committee, and the National Assembly Delegation coordinate supervision.
The National Assembly delegation organizes supervision activities on law enforcement in localities on contents related to supervision topics.
The supervisory delegation performs its duties and powers according to the regulations of the National Assembly Standing Committee detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and the People's Council on the supervisory activities of the National Assembly, submitting to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration of the supervisory results at the August 2027 session and submitting a report to the National Assembly at the 4th Session.
In addition, the Committee for Culture and Social Affairs presides over advising and assisting the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Supervisory Delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee on adjusting the composition of the Supervisory Delegation; developing contents, programs, supervision plans, outlines of reports, organizing implementation; summarizing and developing supervision results reports and other tasks according to regulations.
