At the press conference, Lao Dong reporter asked, the task of long-term preservation and absolute protection of President Ho Chi Minh's embalmed corpse safety is a sacred command of the times, how is the reception and transfer of protection technology carried out?

Responding to this content, Major General Pham Hai Trung said that since 1969, when performing the task of long-term preservation and absolute safety protection of President Ho Chi Minh's remains, Soviet experts have directly helped the State of Vietnam preserve Uncle Ho's remains during the war years as well as after the country was completely liberated.

In 1992, we continued to cooperate directly with experts from the Russian Federation in long-term preservation and protection of President Ho Chi Minh's remains.

Cooperation activities are demonstrated through training and coaching for officers and doctors of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command in medical tasks and the task of ensuring the maintenance of technical equipment systems.

Since then, the medical forces of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command have been responsible for medical tasks in preserving Uncle Ho's body. This was also clearly done during the COVID-19 pandemic, experts could not come, the entire task of preserving Uncle Ho's body was carried out by medical staff of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command.

To ensure the protection and preservation of Uncle Ho's embalmed corpse, the medical procedures have been trained and transferred by experts. The conditions for assurance are chemicals, equipment, and technology has been transferred to us to master these tasks" - Major General Pham Hai Trung said.

Major General Pham Hai Trung added that currently, experts continue to cooperate and coordinate in medical tasks, research to develop, and perfect the medical process for long-term preservation, absolutely protecting the safety of President Ho Chi Minh's embalmed corpse. Along with that, continue to make improvements, apply scientific and technological achievements to better preserve Uncle Ho's remains, preserving them long-term, forever.

The Ordinance on Management and Protection of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex consists of 6 chapters and 32 Articles, regulating the long-term preservation and absolute protection of the safety of President Ho Chi Minh's embalmed corpse; management, protection of works, areas and organization of activities in the Mausoleum Complex; tasks, powers, regimes, policies and responsibilities of agencies, units, organizations and individuals in managing and protecting the Mausoleum Complex.
