Ha Tinh plans to have 70 commune-level administrative units after the arrangement

Ha Tinh On April 20, the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh province proposed a plan to choose a new working headquarters for 70 commune-level administrative units after the arrangement.

According to the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh, on the basis of the plan of arranging the administrative unit at the commune level made by the Department of Home Affairs and opinions at the meeting of the Steering Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, the Ha Tinh Department of Construction proposed the plan to select the working offices of the following units based on some priority principles.

Accordingly, priority is given to using headquarters to ensure maximum exploitation of facilities, helping the new local government quickly operate stably.

The location of the new administrative - political center of the administrative unit must be the population allocation center area, with a favorable geographical location, synchronous socio-economic infrastructure, especially the developed transportation system to help people easily access and ensure convenient connectivity with other areas in the province.

The new administrative - political center of the new administrative unit has space for future development; in line with the socio-economic development orientation of the new unit, ensuring harmony and reasonableness, avoiding imbalances between localities when merging, ensuring the maintenance of national defense and security.

Priority is given to selecting the new administrative - political centers of the new administrative unit in the urban areas included in the list of urban development plans of Ha Tinh province for the period 2021-2030.

According to the draft plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units of Ha Tinh province, the arrangement from the current 209 units will be implemented into 70 new commune-level administrative units, expected to reduce 139 units (a decrease of more than 66.5%).

With the plan to arrange 70 communes and wards, the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh province has proposed using the working headquarters for the new administrative unit after the arrangement.

In Ha Tinh city, it is expected to merge the following units into 1 ward, including: Bac Ha, Thach Quy, Tan Giang, Thach Hung, Nam Ha, Tran Phu, Ha Huy Tap, Van Yen and part of the area and population of Dai Nai ward. The location of the new administrative unit headquarters is at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh city.

Merge Thach Trung, Dong Mon, Thach Ha wards and Ho Do commune, the new headquarters location will be at Thach Ha ward People's Committee.

Merging Tan Lam Huong commune, Thach Dai commune and part of Dai Nai ward area and population, the new headquarters will be located at Thach Dai commune People's Committee.

Merge Tuong Son commune, Thach Lac commune and Thach Thang commune, the new headquarters will be located at Tuong Son commune People's Committee.

Merge Thach Tri commune, Thach Hoi commune and Thach Van commune, the new headquarters will be located at Thach Tri commune People's Committee.

Merge Dinh Ban commune, Thach Khe commune and Thach Hai commune, the new headquarters will be located at Thach Khe commune People's Committee.

Merge Cam Binh commune, Cam Vinh commune, Thach Binh commune and Cam Thanh commune (under Cam Xuyen district), and place a new headquarters at Cam Binh commune People's Committee.
