Amidst the cheers of "Vietnam - China friendship, Vietnam - China solidarity", teachers and students of Tran Phu High School happily waved flags and flowers to welcome the two Ministers of National Defense of Vietnam and China and high-level delegations of the two Ministries of National Defense to visit.
This is one of the activities in the 10th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange Program, March 18.
Two students present flowers and welcome General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense and Senior Lieutenant General Dong Quan - Minister of National Defense of China.
The two Ministers and delegates of the two countries entered the schoolyard, together watching special art performances, performed by students of Tran Phu High School and Dong Hung High School (Dong Hung City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China).
The art performances are imbued with national cultural identity and the spirit of friendly exchange, carrying a meaningful message about the connection, sharing, and mutual respect between the two nations.
Mr. Mai Hoang Lam - Vice Principal in charge of Tran Phu High School - shared that the visit of the two Ministers and the high-level delegation of the Ministries of National Defense of the two countries is a great source of encouragement for teachers and students of the school.
Tran Phu High School was established in 1957. After nearly 70 years of construction and development, Tran Phu High School has affirmed its position as one of the typical educational institutions of Quang Ninh province.
Not only does it have spacious and modern facilities, the school also has a team of 100% national standard teachers, dedicated and responsible. Currently, the school has a scale of 33 classes, with nearly 1,500 students, including many students from mountainous and island areas.
Along with teaching and learning tasks, the school always focuses on fostering ideals, educating traditions, strengthening propaganda about friendship, cooperation and the value of living and studying in a peaceful environment; contributing to fostering the good traditional solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and China.
On the occasion of visiting Tran Phu High School, the two Ministers of National Defense of Vietnam and China presented meaningful gifts to teachers and students of the school. The two Ministers and delegates visited the new classroom equipped with computers donated by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense.
