At the 29th Session of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council (the first thematic session in 2025), delegates voted to approve the Resolution on adjusting the payroll of civil servants in administrative agencies and the number of employees receiving salaries from the State budget in public service units under the province.This decision was made due to the rearrangement and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.
The Provincial People's Council approved the transfer of 217 civil servant staffing targets between departments to implement the merger and reorganization of the apparatus.
Of which, the Department of Agriculture and Environment received the most with 146 targets from the old Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.After the transfer, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has a total of 196 targets, becoming the unit with the largest number of positions assigned.
The Hai Duong Provincial People's Council also approved the transfer of 696 targets for employees receiving salaries from the state budget in public service units.
The Department of Health was supplemented mainly with 466 targets, due to receiving from public service units under the old Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, including the Provincial Social Protection Center, the Center for Formenting Mental Health for Meritorious People and Society of Hai Duong province, and the Hai Duong Province Drug Rehabilitation Center.
In total, 913 quotas for civil servants and employees receiving salaries from the state budget were transferred.After being transferred and received, units will continue to streamline the payroll and reduce the target according to the set plan.
